I love Ford Raptor and your build makes it even more attractive. Is adding a camper to the build on the list as well?
Right now the roof top tent is good enough for me. I was actually shooting the ******** with a buddy about ditching the bed and adding a tray and camper conversion, but I'll leave that for a future F250 build. The weight considerations with a F150 and even more so with a Raptor comes into play when you start thinking about those things. I do have upgraded leafs but those can only do so much.

The vision for the build shifted so much based on where I was living. While in California I wanted to make it more of a desert truck that could tow a small trailer to a campsite but now I like having the camping stuff on the truck so I can tow the ski. Sure it defeats a bit of the point of a Raptor but im extremely happy with it.

Currently camping in Tennessee. Should be in Florida in about 2 weeks.

Made it to Florida safely. I really enjoyed Tennessee and the Carolinas, both were lovely and beautiful in their own ways. The winding rivers and lakes in Tennessee makes me want to camp out near a boat ramp and just ride up and down the rivers. Douglas lake is on my short vacation list for sure! OBX was lovely as always, but I had to cancel part of my camping trip there due to time constraints and weather concerns. My buddy lives up that way and just got a Tacoma so we're already talking about a way to meet up next year in Hatteras or Ocracoke next year.

Unfortunately not having a home base has allowed me list of things to do the truck to add up; I have a bad axle/wheel bearing out back that I'm going to tackle this weekend. The Icon leafs are too much on the 3rd setting, so I'm going down to at least the 2nd setting, see how that works and maybe throw a drop shackle in there. I do not like the rake of it when its not loaded, though when its loaded down it rides like a cloud. I start work in a week so I expect to be super busy so I want to knock those out right away.

Also looking at throwing new parking brake shoes on the rear since I'll be in the back there for the bearings. Also thinking about doing the front bearings so those are easy to do, but want to have the truck available for weekend fishing/ski trips.

How radical. Congrats man!
Thanks man. I'm trying to get life back in order now. Lived a very structured life (that I enjoyed for the most part) and now I can.... just like do anything. Like hike, fish and camp from mid april to mid july. But life catches up fast, so back to work with me.
