Baja540 Faint Contour Lines

Does anyone know how to make contour lines easily visible on the Baja540. Mine are very very faint. I 'm using MapCreate7. The elevation numbers and everything else seem to be ok. Thanks, Steve

I think it works the same as my 3500C, but check in your manual on page 100.

press menu
press menu
select screen
select display mode
select high contrast

...and you may also have to adjust the other settings (contrast and brightness) as well.

This helped a little bit. What is interesting is the slight improvement came when I went to low contrast. Not what I was expecting. The definition is still nowhere as nice as on the PC. Thanks, again. Steve

BoxCar, mine is exactly like yours. I havn't had time to see if there is a way to improve the contrast beyond what was already suggested. I will post back here if I find a solution.

Change it over to night mode they show up much better, i will have to play with it to remember where it is at to change it, i run mine in night mode all the time.
