Looks like I picked the wrong year to skip EJS... ;)

P.M. on the way. Thanks Jeff.

Edit:
Looks like PM wasn't available, so I used the email option. Hope that works OK for you.

Nice video!
Sheesh, I feel proud just to know the engineer who designed these pieces.
This must have made your chest swell, at least a little bit. :beer

But it is always fun to be surprised by packages on the porch like I was just now. Opening the boxes revealed another box inside each package with some new products for my Jeeps...

It's fun to get these but sometimes a bit anticlimactic because I've been running my prototype versions of both of these products in the JK for a long time. Anyway I'll probably uninstall my prototypes tomorrow and install these production versions, I should be running the production versions so when people ask about them I've got the "real thing" installed instead of something I built.

Jeff I finally caught up on the thread lol a little behind. The sliders look great. I would love to see a side shot with the half door sliders with them. But that can be later on. Enjoy EJS wish I would have figured a way to make it happen. One of these days. Anymore info on the lights we test fit? Itching for a few of those for the rear of the Jeep. The flat fenders look awesome as well. As always great work my friend. Safe travels heading our there and if you think of it shot me a pic from there to really make me regret not going lol.

Jeff, Im still planning on using a piece of Uni-Strut to mount my spare against the side roll bar. Im thinking straps could be added to the Tactical Tire Cover using the Molle panels on the sides to tie onto either to the roll bar or tie downs in the back. Between the bolts and the cover it should be pretty dang secure.

Like a straight jacket for that crazy spare. :)

Funny - as the email came in informing me of your post, I was sitting at my desk reviewing the engineering drawings for the LED brackets - I got the production drawings from the manufacturing guys just today and I was verifying that the drawings were correct (mostly, they were). In the next week or two preproduction samples of the brackets will be made for testing. The Jeep accessories company tells me they're in the process of placing their first order of the LEDs for inventory, so everything is moving along on that project.

Thanks for the nice words about the flat fenders. I'm very happy with the look and fit.

Here's a photo of half door and hardtop sliders together, it's the only photo of all of them they've sent me so far...

Sorry you won't make EJS - you really have to one of these years. I may be visiting my Mom in late May/early June, we'll have to connect so you can show me the new Jeep!

I never imagined the Molle straps on the side would be used to help secure the spare in a location like that :). It would be best to rely on a mechanical connection to the Uni-Strut as the primary means of securing the spare, a heavy spare in motion is more than I had intended the straps to support, but it sounds like a mechanical connection to the Uni-Strut is your primary plan anyway.

Window sliders look fantastic, I hope there is a notification when/where to purchase once they are for sale.

Thank you. I couldn't be happier with how everything fits and looks, especially considering how affordable they are. I haven't asked the company when they'll start selling them, my guess would be when they get back from Easter Jeep Safari. Their Jeep will be at EJS with the hardtop sliders and half door sliders, so if anyone is at EJS and wants to see them in person, they'll be in an outside booth at the Vendor Expo. I'll be hanging around there too, I'm anxious to hear what people think of them :).

Yes the Uni-Strut will be the main connection, I was thinking a strap or net would add some insurance. The Tactical Cover could do two things, cover a dirty spare inside and help hold the tire in place. Can you add me to the company thats making these to their email list please.

I need to get to the hardware store for all the bolts I need for the rack you lined out and u bolts and Uni-Strut. Im still waiting on the parts from HF and Rockler.

Plus the Tactical Spare Cover will provide a place to hang Molle pouches to organize and store your gear.

Im sure Ill find something to mount to the Molle on the front of the cover. Most of my recovery gear and first aid stuff will be in ammo cans on the rack.

I've been driving the JK around town doing errands for the last couple of days and I guess I'm not used to gloss black fenders - several times as I've been walking out to the Jeep from a store I'm wondering "what's that mess that got on the fenders?" only to realize that it's a reflection of the decals on the side of the Jeep. And I guess I'm dumb because it's fooled me several times. And they're already dirty because it was raining yesterday. Maybe instead of a very glossy black gelcoat I should dull them down to match the factory rear fenders...
