Best full-size 4 season composite trailer?

Actually, I don't "drag" anything into the mountains or desert. That's why I have a capable trailer that can go where I want to go without damage, then offer a fine place to camp in any weather. It's all relative, I guess. Modern stickies can't get off the pavement without ripping off parts or breaking something. Caravans have real ground clearance, large tires, good suspension with shocks, articulating hitches, like the McHitch, and relatively narrow bodies for fitting through tight places. I've been to Saline Valley, CA many times, Baja, Usal Beach in CA, Seven Mile Rim at Moab, Whitmore overlook, the mining roads near Silverton, CO, climbed up to Leavitt Lake on the Sonora pass with a washed out road in a hailstorm, parked in soft sand just feet from water at a local lake visited numerous hot springs in NV, and lots of places in Utah. You can hike in or out all you want and that's fine, but I can stay for days in any weather, cook great meals, be away from everyone if I want to and see places others only dream about. All while towing my caravan. And no, I don't litter up the place by leaving it there for seasons. Bring on a snow storm, bring on freezing weather. That is why I like ground clearance, large tires, quality suspension, good insulation, a narrow body, large solar, large batteries and quality construction. I wish I was too young to know about the places you mention, but I'm not, and it seriously pisses me off to see the destruction by looters and gun toting **************** who think it's their god given right to shoot up anything they find out there, or tear up cabins left by others. CA is the worst for this scourge, but it is moving east.

Actually all that you mention has been the norm for decades in the very few places that exist out East. But keep perpetuating the CA myth it keeps people from moving here and we have to many people here as it is.

Yeah, that is also a problem at Alabama Hills. But there, the City of Los Angeles owns a lot of the land and that seems to be the problem. In Nevada, where I live, there are no restrictions that I've seen and NV has 48 million acres of BLM and 5.9 million acres of Forest Service land. We are not limited and getting away from people is not a problem. You can look into the future and speculate about what might happen, based on your own fears, but look at Texas now. No BLM lands, but private ranches, from what I gather. And only a few parks, like Big Bend. It is already gone and gone because of private ownership. CA still has lots of areas that are Forest Service or BLM, not State controlled. I prefer not to camp in CA, but it does have some special places.

Texas is an interesting example. The reason they don't have much public land (other than the state and federal parks) is connected to the way they joined the US. The land in TX wasn't "purchased" by the US government the way most of the land in the western US was. So there's a lot more private land ownership in TX. We lived and worked in CA for 13 years, so we don't go there a lot anymore since we pretty well covered the state during that time. But you're right, it really does have some great places.

Yes, almost identical to what Treefarmer is building. I'm counting on Jamin making all the prototype mistakes on @Treefarmer's unit first!

Mine will use the Cruisemaster XT Freestyle rather than ATX though because CM is backordered months on the ATX - probably also why the OBI/ROA units are so delayed.

That is funny. Always good to have a guinea pig when your buying a new trailer. I don't belive the OBI is delayed as ROA has 30-40 on thier lot. Not to nit pick but I don't think there are any intention to include CM on any OBI Dwellers or Conqueror. Your right that is likely what is delaying the Roamer 1, Roamer X and possibly the Xplore 145 and 195. Pardon the bragging but I predicted that Treefarmers would get there Kindom Camping four wheeler before any Roamer1 was completed. Still baffled to why CO Rv received thier xplores before ROA.

Likely ordered them from China with available/ existing equipment thus got them sooner. ROI’s big thing ie value add is their pushing for more NA centric stuff n the trailer.

And all kidding aside, Treefarmer has nothing to be concerned about. Jamin will deliver a top-notch trailer for us both! I do indeed owe a thanks to Treefarmer for coming up with such an amazing feature-packed build. He really did think of everything on this unit. I've compared all of the specs to the Roamer units and while the Roamer is nice I think the Kingdom units will be as good if not better at ~25% lower price - a deserved reward for taking a chance on a newcomer like Kingdom I suppose.

Gonna be sweet!! ETA April/May for mine.

You did predict it early, and it's looking like you may end up with the prize. I really did think they would have had the R1 by now, and definitely before I take delivery. At least a prototype. They don't even talk about it anymore. When people ask on the YT site "What about the R1?" the question is typically ignored.

I know that the CM suspensions are proven but I wonder about the option of using either the Air Bag Man suspension that the Conquerors are using or that new Morryde system the Pause are using. If I am not mistaken, I think both have more travel than the CM ATX. No idea on load capacity but neither the Conqueror UEV-19 or Pause trailers are lightweights. No idea if the other two suspensions could be procured or if they are exclusive to their current customers at this point.
