Bigger tires or more suspension travel?

1. Learning to drive off road properly and safely
2. Tires
3. Mild lift for better approach and departure angles
4. Winch
5. Air Lockers

Tires make a world of difference. When I swapped my stock tires to taller, narrow Duratracs, it felt like I added lockers. The effect came from my electronic "lockers" actually working correctly because the tires gripped.

Agreed on tires. MT (or even an agressive AT like a Duratrac) is much better, in my experience, than an AT. A tire like a Duratrac isn't even much louder an an AT and I think the extra (minimal) noise is more than made up for in performance.

Having lift and travel doesn't mean **** if u don't have the right tires.
But that being said if in the near future u plan on upgrading the suspension then u should wait and get tires to fit that setup.
