Are those 1gal or 2gal RotoPax? And are you carrying petrol just to be a super nice guy in case someone on the road needs it? ;)
Any idea how much the rack/spare/gear weighs?
Looking awesome as usual. Enjoy your journey and happy holidays!

The roto pax are all 2 gal. I have nine for diesel fuel and two for regular gas as I normally carry a generator and of course I'm always going to help anybody stuck on the side of the road. I will be adding three or four more for gas for my dirtbike when I travel with it

Total weight on the roof is probably about 400 lbs fully loaded

Thanx!

What brand/model door window visors did you go with? Looks like they are the type that fit in the window channel? Any issues with them?

They are vent visors and they slip inside the glass track, they work fine with absolutely no issues. I have installed these on many vehicles and the trick is to clean out the felt really well before installing and then not opening for several days.

I haven't had cause to take it down yet but my plan will be to toss it down or lower it down with some rope and then to get the old one back up after getting repaired/replaced, I will toe rope to it, throw over a tall tree branch or such and pull it up and drive underneath of it. What do you think? Good plan?

Where there is a will, there is a way!

Perhaps a metal rod with a short leash on it so you could pull/roll it up the side rather than drag it.

This van makes me a bit green . . . . with envy

I mean, really, two GoLights?! You're just showing off!

Well give me a chance to defend myself! my original plan included one light on both the front and the back but that plan quickly changed when I had to fire and eradicate the gentleman that I had hired to do my custom work. You all know the story, it's getting to be a very popular problem these days with people on this forum. so soon afterwards, I had Aluminess build me a custom rack to my design and specifications with the two lights on the back as that was the best possible look for me. I think it would've looked goofy with my original plan after acquiring more knowledge on these topics, thanks to the wonderful and intelligent people I've run across on this forum. I'm very happy with them and although somewhat perfunctory, I do like the look and the cool factor for myself!! This vehicle will be my first home for the next couple of years when I set out to travel this great country!! That's the long answer DC!!
Happy New Year

My bad, I finally read through your whole thread and see that someone else asked the same dumb question. But here's another one. Those wheels are bada$$. What rims are they?
