I sorted out the problem that I had in Moab. It turns out that I had the port I use for charging, switched. It was intended to be an external switch for the tent light, but in my "infinite wisdom" I wired it into the same swich as the lighting power port. I have no idea why. Now that I know the switch needs to be on they charge much better ;)

As long as I get some sun they do great. Tested this trip. We came back from a day "out and about" the battery was in the yellow. It was evening sun. They only had a couple hours of direct sun before sunset and the battery was green. The next morning I set them up for morning to noon sun. We returned about eight hours later to a fully charged battery.
I feel very good about them now.
The last test was in the forest and light was sproatic at best. Pretty cloudy too. This time the first day was partly cloudy and it still held its own.

Can you give more detail on this? I'm not familiar with this product.
Actually, it is called "Max Vent" (I confused it with another boating product)
Skip that retailer and go directly to the source: Hypervent Marine Great stuff.

Thanx, Henry! Did you cover the entire floor, or just the hinged area? It seems that I only get condesation along the center, no more than 6 inches from the hinge on either side.

I covered the entire floor. It has been my experience that the condensation occurs where the body lies on the mattress in our tent.
The Maxvent is almost like adding a box spring under the mattress. It adds a little comfort.

The material has a Vapor barrier that laps over. With some spray adhesive you can easily combine sections to create the needed width.

Looks VERY familiar and similar to another product I've seen, I just can't put my finger on what it is..

How do you like having the Highlift jacks as stabilizers? If you were to redo the build would you go them same route again?

Loved them. I had only an issue when the mud would build up on them. Installing the neoprene covers solved that.
I sold it, but it is still in the family. My brother and sister now own it. They are using it frequently and still like the Highlift stabilizers.
