Thanks guys.

I do enjoy cooking and I also love taking young folks out that have not experienced camping before. It's my religion, the more I can spread the enthusiasm and love of nature, the better. :wings:

I think Roxy (bowser) naturaly has it all figured out already.

Here's a few shots from my last outing over New Years to Turkey Creek near the East end of Aravaipa.

That first photo should be submitted for the 2011 ExPo calendar. Very nice image, two hearty thumbs up!

Hope the Maker's kept you warm -

Thank you sir. I think that is one of my favorites from the trip as well. That was taken on the way out along Aravaipa creek.

Yes, Makers is required for all camping trips.

Hey Brad, great looking pics. This trip looks a lot warmer than last years, and dry too.

Yep, setting the whole mash unit with wood stove was a little over kill. The first night it got down to 23F but the next two nights were only in the low 30's. Was comfy warm inside though.

I want to go back there in the spring when the trees are leafed out and the stream is running. It's a really nice spot.

You sure make it hard for a guy to not have sellers remorse...

I'm subscribing.

24k? really? that's as much as a new Jeep JK 4dr.

Yep they don't come cheap but with the way it's over engineered and the build quality I expect this to last me decades.

About the only way to cut the price is to find the rare one for sale used or wait for the exchange rate with Australia to dip way down again.

As much as I use it and the enjoyment I get out of it, I still feel it was a great investment for me.

I'm heading out again the first week of Feb for 5-6 days.
