MMMMMMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, TURRRRRRRBOOOOOOSSSSSS! Woot woot.....more boost more fun!
Yes I do have it. I bought a new one since when I got the engine it didn't have one.Do you have the bracket that mounts to the back of the starter and the block if you don't that is why you are breaking bolts it has to be on there it is a bent piece of angle iron
I have a Cummins in my 2013 Ram Crew Cab Laramie. I absolutely love the engine. Its super reliable.
I've looked at the R2.8 a lot. But the price of it, plus adapters and all the other stuff I'll need would put me over $10K. Just not enough bang for the buck. Its a great engine, but it lacks the power I'd like. Besides, the 6.5 will have no electronics to run it. One reason I wanted an old diesel anyway. I want to be able to run it anywhere. Plus with the military injection pump that I already have, I can mix used oil and transmission fluid into my tank. And it'll burn it without any questions. I've been doing it with the 6.2 since I installed it. My fuel costs are pretty cheap when I drive it. These are things you can't do with a newer designed motor. The 6.5 / 6.2 isn't much larger physically than a 4.2L, so it makes a great swap.
