C6 Ford Trans question ( older build 4x4 conversion)

Hi guys,
I am building a 4x4 out of a older Ford van (89'). I have gutted all the FI electronics and am running carb'd motor) I have everything I need, but had a question on the Ford C6. I have a donor C6 4x4 transmission complete with a BBF pattern (came with all my running gear). I have a new rebuilt windsor motor, and want to know if I can just buy a 2wd SBF C6 and convert all the internals over from the BBF trans. Basically what I'm asking is: are all C6's the same internally ( just bell's are different??)??

Yes you just pull the guts our of one and stuff them in the case you want to use.

A seal kit is very cheap, do it while you are there.
