Looks like an amazing trip! I'm about to do what any good husband would do and buy a RTT so my wife will be more comfortable. What model of Tepui do you have? Does the size work well for you and your wife?

The tail outside of Aspen looks like Marble Pass. Love that area of CO.

Great report. Thanks for posting. Beautiful country out there!

I like your truck with the topper and tent. I'll build something like that for my next truck.

You guys ate like champs...some good looking food for sure.

Great report and photos, thanks for sharing! I miss CO and UT!

Question: How did the fiberglass topper hold up to the RTT use? Any flexing/cracking?

Good question. The shell is a standard Leer 100XL. I wanted to get the commercial version with the reinforced roof but the guys at the shop told me it really wasn't necessary. So far, I've not had any issues. No cracking, flexing, etc. I've heard the same reported from others using the standard cap for their RTT's as well.

Oh, my tent is one of the biggest / heaviest of the Tepui lineup as well.

I have the Kukenam Rugged XL. The size is great (the biggest footprint they have). He have a California King that we sleep on and we wanted to at least match that, I think the tent might be just slightly larger than the bed. We like our space so for us, the larger size was a must.

Awesome report--loved your trout and camping pictures. Also, I TOTALLY agree on those gear ties. I have bought 4 packs so far and each tie has been used.
