That was the biggest gripe with our power wagon, how much it sagged as soon as you put more than 5lbs in the bed. We put the same air suspension on our and it was a game changer! How are you going to fill it? did you get the auto compressor?
I’ll be interested to see how even just the Rebel suspension changes it. It’s certainly a big component towards the 2700lb payload (1400lbs more than our PW) on the VIN I ordered it from.

But yeah, those bags should help with the camper and I got the daystar cradles too. I have a small compressor I currently carry. Just gonna run the air chucks at the rear for now and see what direction I want to go. I have a single ARB compressor in my xterra that I was going to swap with a double that’s sitting on my workbench, or I might put the double in with a tank and a chuck on the PW. I donno. Too many ways to skin the cat.

You guys finish up in AK already?

We had the ARB dual mounted under the hood and had the air connections for the bags pop out next to the rear tag, it was easy enough to pop the hood, run the line back there and put some air in when we needed. I never noticed any leak down which was nice. I also had the daystar cradles and did plenty of flexy off-roading with the PW, great choice there. I'm sure the springs + bags will be slightly overkill for your setup, but better to be overbuilt then under and you'll have lots of adjustability.

We did! Left Palmer a few weeks go, 8/25, to head to the Arctic and Tuk, we are down in Jasper NP now, then heading to Banff for two weeks before we head back to Mexico for the winter! We end up a hair over 3 months and drove over 5000 miles just around AK! What a blast!

Yep. Probably overkill. Honestly, I will probably pop on the springs first and see what the camper does, then do the bags if I still feel it’s needed. We still want to add a few things to our setup, so weight won’t be going down, so who knows. 😂

Possibly! My wife and kiddo were down near Seward a couple weekends ago. Hoping to get out onto the kenai again this weekend if I can make time to swap the springs on the truck in the next couple days (something something work work).

How was your time up here?!

It was so great... Tons of great fishing but I was about a week ahead of the silvers. Got home a few weeks ago.

Well… rebel springs and airbags installed. Camper back on and quick test drive. Certainly better behaved. Heading out tomorrow for a couple days. Game on.

Measured everything out, and even without air in the bags, quite an improvement in how it settled. I’d lost over 3” out of the rear on the stock springs loaded up. With the Rebel springs and no air in the bags, I lost less than 2” and with a bump of air, sitting at about an inch under unloaded.

Supposed to rain all through south central this weekend. Will see how things go with tiny human and the truck cabin under those conditions. Fingers crossed!
