Do you know if the Uniden fits in a single DIN configuration in the 80 series?

Also remember speaker location...

We run a Cobra 18 WX ST II and it has worked flawless. Again, a little big, but the reason why we chose it, was because it's front fire speaker because we put it in the dash. If not, you have to run an external speaker.

Very good point.

I'll be running an external speaker for my yaesu 7800. and dont want to run an additional one for a CB that wil lsee marginal use.

I just bought my 97 LX450. One of the PO's installed the uniden model. Here's a pic....
