Camp Shower Showdown

I used the bossman at the overland expo east. They had a shower tent set up with these units in there. While I was there they had 3 units go down for various reasons. I didn't stick around long enough to find out what was wrong. When they worked though they were pretty warm but not hot I would say. It was chilly that weekend. I'm not sure if anyone else used them there or not. My guess they did. Maybe someone will chime in with thier experience with them too.

Hey does anyone know if I buy an Ecco temp from amazon and try it out and not satisfied with how hot it is will they return it easily.

Here is a tip too for these type of showers.
If you are using cold as in very cold water from a stream, first run it with the kitchen swing out faucet so it gets fairly warm, and have the spigot empty it back into the bucket of cold water.
Next time it passes through the shower end, it will be very warm.

I get my shower/dish water from a cold mountain stream/creek/river when camping, but it sits out in the sun for awhile, so I never have to cycle it twice.
I guess they should have stuck with my design instead of updating the thing, as I mentioned mine has been trouble free.

I know this thread is addressing the ability to transport water for a hot shower. An alternate to this is dilemma is a product I am in LOVE with and refuse to leave home without it, it's called Shower Pouch (www.theshowerpouch.com).
