I am looking for a replacement for my old faithful that's about to give up the ghost. Would those of you who have the stainless types please let me know your thoughts on yours and why you think yours is the best?
Thank you for your kind assistance...

I am using a Partner stove that AT installs on their Horizon trailers. I know that Partner makes different styles. I couldn't be happier with it!

Partner Steel makes the finest stoves we have seen. The quality is second to none. They use a high pressure regulator to get an intense flame instead of using lots of propane to make the flame burn strong.

We have a two burner stove in an aluminum case it works great. We even sell a shelf to put it on, and funnily enough it attaches to the side of your Chaser!

Funny you should ask. :)

I am currently testing 8 stoves for the Winter issue.

For what it is worth, I use the Partner Steel unit.

Well, I guess the Partner Steel stoves have the vote and I am hooked into getting one.
I thank the response from all of you and I look forward to many years of cooking and heating the shower water on the Partner.

I have the two burner Partner Steel stove that came with my AT Horizon. It performs very well however a couple minuses:

I need to create my own custom wind screen: This is only an issue with the Horizon mount; otherwise it looks like their freestanding stove has a suitable windscreen.

The burner is relatively small diameter which doesn't work so well for larger fry pans (10"+); however the 2-burner model stove isn't really designed for large group cooking anyway...

The SS grate that supports pots/pans doesn't work so well with smaller pots/pans/my Moka pot. I welded in SS rod to make this more suitable...again not a biggy but I would have expected this design oversite to be originally remedied by PS considering their marketing brag and price.

We have worked out a way to attach the wind screens on to the Horizon. It would be a DIY retro fit. Drill some holes and pop rivet them in place. Should work like a charm.

The Partner two burner stove was originally developed by Partner Steel http://partnersteel.com for Adventure Trailers. It's basically half of the original 4 burner stove they made. We put it on a full slide in the Horizon kitchen. Later Partner developed the 2 burner in a case, and that line seems to have expanded over the years.

Partner Steel makes equipment for Outfitters and Rafting companies primarily, so their focus is on bullet proof hardware and facilitating cooking on a large scale. A lot of their stuff is 4 or 6 burner units.

They make some killer coffee pots (1 -2.5 gallons!!!), griddles and Dutch ovens.

I bought one of their 1-gallon coffee/water pots to use mostly for heating water...which has not been used much since getting the Coleman instant hot water heater.

I've made cardboard templates for a windscreen for my stove...I just need to get going with some aluminum plate and get'm cut!

How does that work?

Works great. It has a rechargeable battery...charge it up before the outing (I forgot to do this on the last 4-day trip so I just plugged the 12V adapter into my Horizon and it worked fine)...insert propane cannister...turn the dial to Warm, Hot or Hotter...in 3-5 seconds you have hot water coming out of its faucet. Great for hand washing, dish washing, etc. Much faster than heating water in the coffee pot, etc., which is the way I have had to heat water for camp chores, etc., the past 30-years :) .

I love that Campa Kitchen
Likewise (and thanks). It's proven to be a very well-set-up galley. And it's revolutionized trailside lunches. With a stove and cooking essentials so easily accessible, I can whip up a hot meal in the time I used to spend foraging for sandwich fixings.

Campa's original design actually used a different (Brunton) stove, with frustratingly anemic output.

I've made a few other minor changes: replacing the plastic drinking cups with glass tumblers, the stainless cookset with hard-anodized aluminum (both from GSI), all the knives and silverware, the original coffee-maker, etc.

I bought the wife the small 2 burner Partner stove last X-mas. It is very sturdy and compact. I like the build quality and she likes the burner control and her built in windscreens.

They are great help if you call, my wife called just to see if the disposable cylinders would work and they express shipped an adapter in time for a trip..
