Camping in the rain and mud

I take off my shoes before I get in the tent and put on flip flops. Easy to store or hang. Made to get wet so you can leave them outside. Its easier to put on a cold wet flip flop then it is a rain soaked pair of boots. Plus they are much lighter to hang so they dont put pressure on the tent suspension or anything. Just my back woods solution.

lost on the mainland
base camp style tents with no floors are nice with a sleeping area inside
or large vestibule is kinda the same idea

sleep in a hammock above it all :)
