I'm sad to say I've never been to washington state.... I definately need to make it out there.

there's alot of great places to see ... most of them behind gates :-/

the motorized-vehicle accessible routes are really drying up.

Lake Crescent in the Olympic National Park was real highlight on a trip through Washington, out to Neah Bay a few years ago.

Tent camping in a rain forest? Not such a highlight....

Death Valley Spring 05, we like to rough it.

The TT is history, time to get back to a simpler life. With less restrictions.

We almost camped here! Belmont Mining District in Eastern NV

Gas tanks. Like a second tank. I only have fuel in two of them right now. Carry a 6 gallon water jug in the back. I might switch to half water/half fuel.

Stupid ?, but what are the wires for that run rom the brush guard to the rack?

The night was cold, the fire was warm and the camraderie was priceless. The picture is from a distance, the rock outcropping next to our camp illuminated by our fire and outlined by a full moon lit sky. Papoose Flat, Inyo NF, CA.

Not an exotic location like most of you but here is our camp on the farm in WV. My son tuned 6 months old that weekend. I slept with my dad's old .22 pistol under my pillow in case any bear came in the night. I target shot the pistol the next day and the sights were so far off I couldn't even hit the tree the target was hanging from, good think the bear left us alone.

I like this thread, lots of cool pics/ideas.
I am definitely into keeping it simple, hate setup, pull in an relax.

This is about as complex as my camp gets:

Those are called limb risers. When you are in areas that have heavily overgrown trails it helps to keep the limbs and branches off your vehicle and windshield and gives you a less obstructed view.

The ultimate minamalist campsite. A 4 day treck into the bob marshall wilderness last year over new years weekend. In montana blizard conditions. a sleeping bag and a tarp and just slept under the fir trees for shelter at nights end. Ramen noodles instant coffee and lots of power bars. (YUK!) Just one of those "hey lets go weekends"

Here's our Summer Solstice 2005 camp at Jack Spring, Central Oregon. Went on a 4 day 250 mile backroad trip down the Cascade range. Mostly logging roads with a few nasty trail sections thrown in. My 2000 crew I used to own and my buddies 720 that had around 250k miles on it at the time.
