Ah... somebody else using Princess Auto axles.

lifting
the lifting systemis off of a 60's erra tent trailer, it is madeup out of a 4 piece slider that used pullies and cables, all the cables are an even lenght and run to a centered point where they are attached to a winch for easy lifting. when lifted I will have a room with a height of 6'6". I works realy slick, I did see these at princess auto.

What are you doing for tenting?

I was able to purchase a old tent trailer with new zippers curtians and canvas, my whole trailer is based on the dimensions of the doner, the tent will pull out to the sides to cover two single beds, while the table folds down for a twin bed. their was also a awning attachment for out the back. I hope to build some type of out door kitchen with that although i so not quite have it figured out in my head.

Rebuilding a 10,000lb winch
Motor Mount with protector guard
support for a slide-out bed
mount with motor in place
slide on the floor showing pullies and cables
torque flex axles did not work - I could not get enough approach angle. went with a drop axel from Princess Auto, reversed the arch in the tube, put the drop up, and sprung under with the springs
finally hooked on behind towing vehicle - `85 Jeep CJ

I think the lift, axle change was asuperior improvment....the suspense is killing me for the rest
