Can't decide on stove - need input!

Check out my new Camp Chef Denali here.

I am very impressed with it, and have used the built in grill in the middle.
Also a Lodge cast iron grill/griddle fits perfect on it for a bigger grill/griddle surface.

How is the low flame sensitivity? I've found most propane stoves I've had are touchy with low flame. Hard to simmer with. I love my MSR Dragonfly for this but it's small, a bit to set up and DANG loud.

It seems to be fine.
This is my second propane portable stove, and the old one worked fine too.

Prior to that I ran propane on the stoves that came with my last tent trailer, and it worked fine too.

Before that long ago I used old school Coleman white gas stoves.
Also misc. small white gas and butane/propane mix cartridge backpacking stoves.

I use a Cook Partner stove:

Certainly not the prettiest... but hands down, the most rugged, well built, and hottest, stove I've ever owned. I bought mine from Adventure Trailers (about halfway down the page).

I think I am going to the trigger on the All-terrain stove. Good price and high output burners. It seems like it would fit the bill. I would just need to get a griddle then.

Sorry to leave you all hangin I lost track of the thread. The all in one works great. the design makes use of the burner efficient and heats quickly. As I said before i had bought 2. with a single burner design it is great and having two of them means I can make hot cakes on one and bacon and eggs on the other. The bag that came with it was very over sized so I ended up putting both stoves in one bag.

My almost brand new used one time garage sale Coleman Duel Fuel $5.00 Lantern, came with plastic case! All I had to do was clean it.

wow what a steal!!! I just bought one of those plastic cases at walmart for $19 and of course it fits my non coleman lantern perfect. what sucks is my other lantern (a coleman) has the feet that prohibit me from using the plastic case.

I just have to figure out what to do with the propane tank while we are in motion. It is going to be a 5lb tank.

You are welcome.
I think I am going to cook breakfast on it again on my Camp Chef stove Sunday morning.

Pancakes, soysauge, hashbrowns :chef:
Now I am getting hungry.

I pulled the trigger on the Camp Chef All-Terrain stove and the above mentioned griddle/grill plate. Should have them both by the 20th. Now I need to figure out the mounting for a 10# tank.

You'll like it. I broke mine in on a 10 day trip in So Utah last year. I think I even have the same griddle. I got mine for free though (REI dividend paid for it).
