I have a shipment of 6 stud alloy wheels arriving this month, the same as the 5 stud but machined for 6 stud, also working 17" for the ISUZU 's which is the same 6 stud pattern.:smiley_drive:

because the screw on cap style hold the schrader valve open to monitor pressure, all that is holding pressure in your tyre is a pressure membrane in the sensor, in europe these don't meet safety standards, plus i don't know how they measure tyre temperature outside the tyre.

when you get out of the cab to pump the tyre up you say, geez its hot, or geez its cold

BTW alan what are you doing indoors playing with computers when you should be out in the shed welding up that chassis ???

G'day all,

Sorry to jump in on this thread but I am planning to buy a used NPS300 this week and have an urgent question regarding Super Single Rims. I am in Canberra and have read numerous posts about Super Single rims, but am still unsure.

Does a 4.5T GVM truck require the rims to be tested as outlined in the All Terrain Warriors website. Or does this only apply to 6T GVM trucks. I have seen a few versions of 16" rims made by other companies such as Titan etc for Canter and NPS but they are custom made or don't have test documentation.

Can a 4.5T GVM truck use rims that have not been tested to destruction legally?

Also, can a 6T GVM truck such as a NPS300, be downgraded to a 4.5T truck (effectively making it a NPS250 4.5T GVM) in Canberra without too much trouble?

Thank you.
