CB Antenna Tuning

Alright, from my reading here I understand a CB works better when the antenna is tuned. Anyone have an idea where in Utah would I get an antenna tuned?

Thanks in advance.

just go to radio shack and buy the tuner yourself. about $20. you will need a 3 foot peace of coax to go between the meter and the radio. there will be dirt. in the box.. then you can tune your anti any time and save the money. it is not hard to do. i do it on the semi several time a year.

First off all not all CB antenna have tuning options. As for doing the work, you need an SWR meter and whatever tools are required to lengthen or shorten the antenna. Usually just a set screw.

Thanks guys. It is tune-able. Came with an allen-head wrench for that purpose? I will see what Radio Shack has to offer. I assume the meter has instructions for tuning?
