Hey you can have my old bumper...I'll let it go for cheap...

Thanks, but I'm going to save my pennies for a rear bumper. I'll just continue to  till then.

How long of wait time is it? Are you going to drive up there to their shop or have them deliver it?

Here is my CBI rear bumper. It has the spare tire mount, dual jerry can holder and hi-lift mount. Simply but, this bumper is bad *** and super stout. Install was a breeze. It just went through a three day Grand Canyon adventure and got beat on hard. Everything thing held up fine, even when coated in dirt. I slammed down hard on the bumper several times going over some rocky ledges where I didn't have good enough departure angle and it didn't even flex. Plus Brant at CBI is super cool and easy to deal with. Now we just need them to make bumper for Landcruisers, mainly 80's and 100's!

His are more pics from the trip. http://ttora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=158492

CBI does GREAT work and is VERY busy because of it. They are about 3 miles down the road from where I live, so if anyone needs me to swing by, just let me know.

I think, if more people with 80s and 100s would order rear or front bumpers, sliders etc., then they would make a jig for each so they wouldn't have to keep your truck for a few days. Also, they are very proficient at making gear for 4Runners and Tacos as well as Jeeps.:costumed-smiley-007

You can run by and see how my front and rear '06 tacoma bumpers are coming along!

Got back yesterday evening from makin a quick trip up to CBI. Steve is a great guy to work with, chat with, and hang out with. It was definitely worth the wait for this bumper. Absolutely amazing work! Didn't have the chance to meet Brant as it sounds like he's taken a job with a Toyota dealer in Pocatello.

Got in to CBI around 8:00am and got it all finished up around 11:00am (it woulda went way quicker but we helped Steve test a few things out and the bolts weren't all ready as Brant normally took care of those). No big deal as we weren't in any hurry whatsoever.

We asked Steve for a recommendation for a place to grab a quick bite to eat on our way back out of town. We ended up at Hot Diggity Dog. Amazing deep fried spicy Nathans chili/cheese/curly-fry dog. Wow! That was a spicy tasty greasy meal! (And yes, we did "pay" for that choice again a couple hours into the return trip...)

Ferg,
Rear bumper is a major improvement over the original one (especially the sagging)!!!
Steve does exceptional work.
Hot Diggity Dog = great fries.
Hope you are not still overdosing on MD!!
