Chaser #15 Mod Thread - Cool Table Trick

Ok here is the latest modification to the trailer. This is a quick table design that I am trying out. It has been out on one run so far and seems to work great! Look at the photographs and I will explain it's simplicity.

What you are looking at is a piece of 3/4" plywood that is wedged in between the fender and the body. You then lower the front of the plywood down over 2 small 3/4" tall metal spacers. The spacers are approxiametely 1/4" round. See the bottom photograph for the spacers. Simply drill your top board accordingly. I am very impressed with how stable this table is. Give it a try!

Most excellent idea, it appears to be the right height so that the old back won't wear out so soon. Any ideas for an attached awning?

Maybe some UMHW would make cleaning it super easy & expand it's uses?
