Cheap Fridge <$400 shipped

I have a west marine 12v plug and receptacle in the truck that have the ability to thread together to avoid coming undone on rough "seas".

they seem to work well.

Get on the phone and call, every couple days...I was under a deadline, but the rep I talked to (Justin or Jason or something) said they are in/out all the time.

65Qt on the back seat of my Tundra... barely fits. I added a 12volt plug to the little platform and a little two prong plug so I can unplug all of it ant take out when I need my back seat:

There have been reports that the eBay 'scratch and dent' are not the same as the Compact Appliance 'open box' - and that the $50 price difference may not be worth it...basically some broken/not working/bad service issues, whereas the 'open box' straight through CA has been good experiences. Is that worth saving $50? Your call...read through this thread and decide for yourself

(if it was me, I'd have waited for an open box, but not gone w/the ebay deals, just didn't seem worth the potential hassle)

Update on mine: 7mo running as a beer fridge in the garage as well as two weekends running in the truck for extrication duties at two New England Rally races.

it works perfectly. I am very pleased with this cheapo fridge.

It's listed on the Open Box page today. I think you're golden.

I really want to nab one of these, but just can't justify it right now.
