i am selling my 1981 toyota trekker 4x4 seats 4 this truck is the first 4runner that toyota attemted to make,with a removable top, smoged and ready to go. it also has decent 32 inch tires, new rancho front shocks, clutch and 5 speed rebuilt tranny(by a local shop) interior is in good shape with very little rust. this truck will make its new owner very happy. asking $3250.00 please email for more detailed info and pics if interested swamwest@yahoo.com

I had one back in the day. Rolled it like a dummy. Would LOVE to find another white one in decent shape. I love my Runner, but they are VERY cool. Or were back then anyway. I never took the top off of mine. Not sure the resealing would be as reliable as it is on my Runner. If someone her ecan pick it up, please keep us posted.

Trekker was a Winnebago product I believe, FYI, very neat...

Not a lot of specifics. I was traveling when he called back and in all honesty did not have the time to take notes. Anyway, he was not sure what owner he is...number 2 or 3. Had the transmission rebuilt within the past year. Does not think the engine has been rebuilt, looks original, and odometer reads 25K miles….250K…who knows. Truck burns a little oil but no major leaks (keeps it topped off). Owner also stated that the bed is fiberglass and from my limited research that may be true.

Anyway this truck is just too far for me to really spend the time but cool looking none the less.
