I can shoot him an email and see if I get a reply. If you PM me your email I will include it. Craigslist email can be funky at times.

71 Siesta Hard Sided Crank up for Sale

Forgive me if this post is not appropriate.
I found this thread searching for comparable Siesta Campers. It seems like they are few and far between.
I have a 71 like the one in this thread. Mine has the "Harvest Gold" interior instead of the green but it is still very Seventies.
Mine is not in perfect condition like the one shown.
I will get an ad up and link it in this thread if allowed.

Thanks!

Check the rules, but the best place to post would be in the "for sale" section. I, for one, would love to see your ad, but perhaps you could post up some pictures? If anyone just happened to want to buy it, they could just PM you....

I have one of these siesta telescoping campers that I fully restored. I wish now that it had a three way fridge instead of an icebox. I'm thinking of adding one but the vents would be covered by the top section when you put the camper down. I wouldn't be able to run the fridge unless it was popped up. Not sure how to get around that. Looking for some help and hoping to find some wisdom here. Any ideas? IMG_0787[1].jpg

How do the alaskan campers vent their fridges? Wouldn't they have the same issue?
That is the best looking camper I've ever seen. Reminds me of the camper I used to ride around in growing up.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to look into compressor fridges. The hard part is I have a friend who has a three year dometic 3 way fridge he took out of a camper and is willing to give to me. It even fits in the cabinet where the ice box would come out of. Just wish I could figure out how to make the vent for that one work...

Thanks! This is the camper I rode around in when I was a kid. I bought it from my Dad and restored it. It's been a blast.

I think Alaskan fridges are always installed under a window and your supposed to keep the window open to vent the fridge when the top is down. Unfortunately, I'd have to rebuild all the cabinets in mine in order to get the fridge under a window.

Does it use the same type of Perelli seal that the alaskan uses? Is there anything preventing you from putting a closable vent on your upper half?
