Just put on some Marathon Superhide Seat covers today. I'm not dissapointed with quality and they have a factory fit. Mossy Oak Duck Blind camo to match the Thule ski box.

And if you want a recycled wallet made of waterproof old fishing waders this small little company is worth checking out. Recycled Waders my Greenback Wallet is three years old now and looks just as good as ever. http://www.recycledwaders.com/

Last of the snow here at sea level.

This is the only shot I have of the truck and the new Yakima X-Towers that I replaced the Yakima Rail grabbers with. This raised my front two bars up about an inch so now it matches the back bars better with the raised roof of the ARE MX topper. Next I'm looking at selling the 58" front bars and getting 66" one to match the rear bars. This will allow for me to hold two canoes or kayaks on top better.
Here is my attempt at capturing the Venus transect 10:30pm.

Here are a few from my Swan Lake Loop trip. Kind of like the Boundry Waters of the north with way less people.

Only updates are new NSK and Koyo front wheel bearings with SKF seals, Amsoil grease and I got the brake pads when I was in there. Transmission/ transfer case fluid change kept with the Amsoil ATF. I replaced all the door sensors as I could not lock the truck without the alarm/horn going off.

I have the Aisin/Koyo/Gates timing belt kit in the mail. Going on T-belt #3. I have more plans for the rig this summer. Looking at the fixing the whining power steering pump and screaming AC compressor clutch, and some body work.

BTW: I'm looking for some Nissan Aisin Manual 4x4 locking hubs from a V6 pathy or hardbody must be 28 spline.

Did the stock auto hubs fail?

No but they have been giving me some grief.
In this snowy rainforest I call home the 50* temp swings have not been fun to deal with. I've had the hubs apart to clean them but when mother nature is pissing rain on us in January and it is 45 degs, then a cold snap hits and it is neg 10*, one of the auto hubs was not wanting to engage. Nothing a rubber mallet and a torch wouldn't fix, but I'm thinking of getting manuals. Warn hubs are $, and at all the junk yards up here are the older manual hubs with 27 splines that will not fit this truck. Just on the list to do.

Thanks Allof75! I've got to get more pictures uploaded to keep this thread current.

good to know

we have had similar temperature swings this month in Ontario, all the way from plus 15 deg C to minus 20. Havent experienced the same issues yet but worth looking at in the future

in my cursory glance at manual hubs I had seen some opinions that the hardbody 28 spline units were tougher than the warns.

The warn hubs don't use bolts like the stock hubs do. They have a stud and nut. From my understanding the warn hubs had issues with their hardware failing, not a hard fix just don't use the warn studs. Other than that they are tough. The Hardbody hubs are a clean simple hub.
Adding some pictures from this summer.
