Long-term campers are leaving piles of trash, including used hypodermic needles at camping areas throughout Colorado's public lands, making our wilderness areas more perilous.

I wish the other Ranger Districts would be more proactive about enforcing the 14-day rule. Not just for grow operations like above Nederland but to prevent people from parking a toy hauler in a spot for a month, using it like their own private cabin retreat on weekends. That's part of the reason why the GMUG had to change to designated reservations from regular dispersed camping in a bunch of areas above Crested Butte.
