Thanks everyone for the compliments. I enjoy reading the other trip reports here so much, I had to share my own.

Sounds like a more than super trip. My husband and I used to travel the back roads of Colorado for years and loved it. We now have a second home in Colorado and I'm living vicariously through those of you have the energy to do the more difficult things that we used to do. I loved your pictures. They are great! I hope you don't wait to take another trip. Our trip over Imogene Pass was a great adventure and my trip down the Colorado River was another. Take care and I'll check in to see what you're doing next. You're not too far away. I'm in Nashville. We Tennesseans really do have a great time, don't we? sltherapist

What kind of arms were those you broke?

Nice to see another KJ on here... you should post this up on LOST.

any possibility of google maps (point to point) link?

I would love to do a similar run, and wouldn't want to wonder too much if possible..> :)

I've got most of the GPS tracks. I'll see if I can post them when I get home.

The tracks are too big to upload to the site. If anyone is interested, please drop me a line and I will email them.

Great report!

The White Rim shots brought back fond and painful memories. I broke an axle shaft and brake assemby down there last year ... long story. Let's just say I got to do alot of hiking. :REAdvRockClimber:
