Composite propane tank opinions

What's everyone's opinions on these. I got this free on Craigslist and my propane guy didn't want to full it.

I swear I've read really good reviews of them somewhere on the forums.

Do more research. I have one that performed perfect but the company that made them was corrupt and the law shut them down for cheating on safety reports. Now I can't get it filled not because of the date but a recall. Recalled by a company that went tits up.

There is an entire thread about the demise of these (Lite Cylinder) propane tanks... they were a great product until the gov't shut the company down.

Awe nuts. At least it was free. The guy filled it today so I guess I'll use it up and do some more research.

Love mt Lite cylinder, too bad the guberment shut'm down. I recently purchased a Ragasco tank to carry now. I love being able to see the liquid level.

As a firefighter I would feel safer with a composite tank on fire. BLEVE gets my blood pressure up. Lots of OCRIC with a steel propane tank impinged with flame
