It's a double edged sword. The Pink Jeep operation uses it to comercially as a tour destination and I have heard that during the peak season, they run 75 Jeeps a day through there. So they keep it open for their purposes. As with any Forset Circus land, if it is open for commercial use, it is open for public use.
I was kind of bummed because I went through there a few weeks ago and this time you could see that there has been a tractor back there for "trail maintenance" and there were a lot of obstacles that had dirt in the rocks and dirt ramps to make it easier. It will get better (harder) as it rains and washes the dirt out.
12 years ago I would go through with my CJ5 with a 2.5 lift and 33's and would get some scrapes here and there. Now I can take the wife's Minivan through.
