I got some shocks mounted up, these will serve a dual purpose. I put the axle under the spring to raise the trailer so these shocks will help control any spring wrap on hard hits at speed. They are adjustable Rancho 9k's I had to set them on the #6 setting because of the angle.

Finally got the matching shoe's on the the trailer, now the FJ and the trailer have identical tire/rim combo. There is 23" of clearance on the trailer body and 15" at the axle.

Got the SS recessed panel in and sealed. The next step I will be adding a wrap around rear tube bumper which the propane tank will sit on. The reasoning behind all this is I wanted a full size tank but it stuck out past the fenders, now with the recessed area it will be 1/2" less than the fenders and wont/shouldnt get hit.

it only intrudes on the inside by 2 inches which will be in the kitchen area anyway, no big loss of space.

Thank You Bob....... like you, I want to keep the Mrs. happy while out exploring. The pics make it look bigger than it really is. It's a 5x8. Yours are coming along very nice I might add.

I made a raised platform for the bed, it's 5.5 inches up, On trailers like these there is a lack of storage space/compartments unless you just want to throw everything on the bed (which I don't) so this will give me a place for chairs, folding tables, lantern stands and so on. The lid is two piece and once the side door is in it will be accessible from there.

Just an observation:
Would it have been better to hinge the access to the end then it would lift the mattress
as one unit?
