UPDATE: Estimate is in, check's on its way.
$1884.10. :Wow1: Damn, I didn't realize bumpers and all that plastic crap that hangs below them was so expensive!
Now my question, for those who have done this before:
There is some body damage that I would like fixed: The fender (maybe), the headlight housing that was cracked, etc.
Is it common for a shop to do all the work except the bumper, then just leave the bumper off, so I can take it to another shop to have the bumper put on? Because that's what I'd like to do. I got a nice estimate on an Addicted Off Road tube bumper yesterday that sounds very reasonable, but their shop is in Greeley, which is about an hour away. My preference would be to have the body work done minus the bumper, then just drive the (presumably bumper-less) truck to Greeley to have the bumper put on.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
