Hello,

This year was not so fruitful for traveling, because of Covid limitations, but I try to go explore world anyway.
I have selected Croatia, and ... It was unexpectly amazing, lot of abadoned weird places, here.
Of course, I need to be careful, because there are still landmines around, but with maps, and common sense, you can go!

I have explored Military base:

I go also inside:

And also forgoten tanks I have found.

So, if you have plan, to go thru Croatia, you should keep eyes open for this! :)

What part of Croatia? I was stationed at Taszar, Hungary from 1997 - 98 and we used to run convoy escorts through Croatia several times a week. We would cross the Drava river at either Barcs (Hungary) or Donji Miholjac (Croatia) and escort convoys as far as Slavonski Brod on the Sava river although usually we only went as far as Virovitica and Nasice.

Would love to see more pictures of your travels through Eastern Europe.

Speaking of "military stuff", here's my HMMWV near a minefield in Eastern Slavonia:

Tanks are near Knin which is much more south.
Panos Base, is close to Pag / Zadar, aslo more south.
Honestly I never been in area you mentioned, but I would like to go there very soon.

BTW: HMMWV is not so much reliable, isn it? I have heard lot of horror story about, this car :)

Croatia is full of interesting things, but in other hand you need to accept some limitations, in form of landmines in some areas. So you cannot leave track, for example.

This is for example Zeljava radar / airbase.

Even Bosnia&Hercegovina is very nice country but this conflict is still visible there, everywhere.

We have relatives in Croatia and they would prefer not to be reminded of the war so when we visit we do not go to sites like this as interesting as they might be to many Americans.

Croatia is a beautiful country and my experiences with the people is that they are friendly and welcoming.

You are right. BTW Dinara area is becoming to National Park, so this video will not be possible next year.
...and Nissan Pathfinder seems to me, as very bad offroad car.
