Saw this on CarsandBids. Holy crap this is cool! Reminds me of a turtle or earthroamer, sort of a combination of the two. Guy says it took him 8 months, 5 days a week, to build it and I believe it.

It sounds like he built it in 2020 for himself about 4 years ago. It's definitely a beautiful build.

True miles unknown- this had to be some sorta work truck he bought with a blown motor and gazillion miles

In the photos, you can see he did a full frame down restoration. Every nut and bolt off.

This rig seems to be popping up all over the place recently. It looks like the same one posted a few days ago for $349,000 …unless it’s a twin of that one 🤔

It (or a doppelgänger) is posted on some forum in the PNW as of @ 2 weeks ago.

So it’ll be very interesting to see what happens to it….

I haven't seen this one before, got any links? I think this guy is located in Tennessee, so not sure it would be in the PNW forum. Probably a similar one.

I don't think this thing is getting anywhere near the reserve on cars and bids. That's not the expedition vehicle audience.

For me being a 2 seater cab kills it for me. Amount of people willing to spend $200k plus cash on a home built has to be miniscule.

The bidding got to $140,499 which did not meet the reserve. They do allow the high bidder and seller to try to workout a deal. Not sure if they will report if a deal is done as they do on Bring a Trailer. Maybe not a bad deal at the $140K. Interesting looking rig for someone.
