G'day everyone
Thought I'd share with you my rig as I see there's a quite a few good rigs on the site already, that I'm rather impressed with.
I'm from Perth, Western Australia.
This is my 2006 Toyota Hilux SR5 which I have spent 7 months building up to be a capable touring vehicle for myself, wife & kids.
I choose the Hilux because of it's size, plenty of cab space, leg room for passengers in the back was pretty good and the amount of tray size meant carrying plenty of gear easily and you can't hear stuff moving around!
I also built and run a very popular web site called NewHilux.net, which features over 140 newer model Hilux's, it's turned out to be a great resource portal for the new Hilux. Check it out sometime, www.newhilux.net
Anyhow, here's the specifications on what I have currently got on the Hilux.
Specs:
Safari Snorkel
40mm Bluemax suspension kit
Lightforce 240 XGT's

Custom number plates "D4D"

I am currently also getting a custom built single rear wheel carrier welded onto the ARB step which will allow my Codan HF radio autotune antenna to be mounted properly.
An overhead roof console has also been ordered, so my remote head Codan HF radio can be mounted up in that.
Also awaiting some ARB Air Lockers F&R once that gets finished, which will make the vehicle fairly complete then.
