As many of you know a lot of newer AF lenses are void of the old school DOF scales, which is a real shame if you're doing landscape work and want to figure out the optimal focus point and aperture for tack sharp shots. So if you are like me and want to quickly figure out the hyperfocal points of your lenses check out this great little calculator. Using this calculator I made up a little cheat sheet for myself and I tucked in with my filter pouch.

Interesting...but how do you determine the "Circle of Confusion" ? Or does it matter all that much? I'm unfamiliar with the term
 
I just punched in the format I'm using (top left) and the program seems to make the appropriate adjustments there. Now, I'm not sure if that's right or not, but it seems to be. Anyone out there know better?
