Decisions on a 12v fridge

I am currently trying to decide which way to go at the moment also. Did you look at Snomaster at all? I can not decide between going the Whynter route or jumping up to the higher end units. I really won't use mine more than a few times a year but that does not mean I want to have to purchase a new one every year.

I thought about the same thing along with a Home Depot 3yr warranty. I will be using mine quite a bit so I figure it'll be worth it in the long run. Not having to deal with the headaches of a return due to substandard QC and knowing Paul will be of service if i need it. I've spoken to him several times in the last month and he's always taken the time to address my questions. You can't beat good customer service. As for the Snomaster, no i haven't really. I am kinda set on the NL at this point.

I just got the newer Yeti 400 Lithium last week, and the Goal Zero 100 watt Boulder solar panel shows up today.
This is replacing the ArkPak I have been running for a few years.
It is 100 lbs. verses 17 lbs. for the Yeti.

I've been using the ArkPak for almost 2 years...but it has never weighed 100 pounds. I use a 100Ah Lithium battery in it. It provides nearly 3X the power of the Yeti 400 Lithium...and it only weighs 29 pounds.
