Disco II & 35's

Anyone out there currently running 35's on their D2? Any pics that you are willing to share? I am heavily considering 35's on my D2 but want to see them before I decide. I haven't been able to find any pictures online as of yet. Thanks!

Frank(mongosd2) runs 35s. I will be too once I get a front diff.

Toy swap is good up to 37s I think.
Longfields, gbr, rover tracks axles I think are capable up to 35. Could be wrong.

I'm on 37's...but with a axle swap(fzj80 axles) and it's a trail truck, not a (and i hate this word) "overland" truck. I manage to get about 10mpg. Keith(Rovertracks) hasn't marketed a d2 kit "yet"...

some guy's are running the new the ashcroft front cv's, but I'm not sure about more than a handful on 35's. They'll fit in the wheel well, but you'll need at least 4.11 in the diff's to have any ability to out run a school bus. A 1.4 hi gear with 3.54's would work well. I have a 1.6 hi-gear and that's too much. A 1.4 with 4.11's would probably be best with my set-up...driveshafts are a must...

quick picture add...
the 110 is stock,as is the D1 so the D2 isn't the "high" as in monster truck height...and the driver side tire is flat on the d2 because my beadlocks started leaking...for no apparent reason

That truck Justin had set up on 35s was running kam 4.10s and ashcroft axles IIRC. Like Mongo said, Keith isn't making a DII toyota conversion...there for a while it looked like it was going to happen but I think for such a low demand it wasn't going to materialize. So as of right now you have three options... 1: do 4.11s with ashcroft axles and cv's, 2: do a full on fj80 axle swap (housings and all...and it ain't as easy as dropping springs and drive shafts and bolting up a toyota axle), or 3: buy a DI and do the conversion/buy a cruiser.

luke miles owner of "the shop" in ga. is running 35's on his truck. don't remember what running gear he's using though.

I went to check out some 35s in a KM2 a guy as selling locally, after just looking at them I knew I'd need to do too much. Ended up going with the 33s, but I know Don T. is running beadlocked 37s. Anything is possible I suppose..

Sorry to resurrect this thread but i figure people on here would know some info on this. Does anybody know what suspension set up the guy from The Shop Luke Miles with the red rover has on his Discovery?
