The bed rug/bed mats look nice and fit well. you can also get the kit that covers the side walls and wheel wells.


Plywood and some cheap carpet remnants and carpet padding. I have done that many times I have done that for different rigs.

I actually have Styrofoam than plywood on top of that than the bed rug. trying to reduce heat in the topper since we do sleep in it.

I did a web search on the weight and found it to be about 30-40# for a usable sheet. Seems like most of the truck bed builds out there have a sheet of plywood down so I'll probably go for it. I have a long bed so I'll be using most of the sheet. I will probably go with a 1/2".

How much does a sheet of plywood weigh?

The weight varies from 22 - 84.5 pounds depending on the thickness.

For a 4' x 8' sheet (32 sq ft)
1/4" - 22 lbs
3/8" - 28.5 lbs
1/2" - 40.6 lbs
5/8" - 48 lbs
