One advantage of this porta potti is the ability to slide it under the sink to create more shower standing space.
Not sure if I'm going to like the disposal process from the inside as opposed to outside access. Still have space to install
an outside access unit if this one doesn't pan out.

XP uses something similar which slides into the bed. With my build, I can't really do this. I had hoped that I could pivot
the steps up and over the door for travel, but with the design the bracket needed would set too far out from the camper.
I'll probably hang them across the back. Unless somebody has any ideas?
I have the scissor steps for our other camper, however I like these better as they are deeper and lighter.

Thanks, wish I could take credit for making the stairs but buying was much easier
Found them on Amazon. Very easy to disassemble by removing C clips. Quality is good and may be more versatile than the scissor style.

Storing your steps inside, possibly hanging from the inside of your door is a cleaner solution. You have to open the door anyway and your step won't be covered in dirt & dust to track in. Very easy to create hanging bracket and strap to secure and stop banging while still be being quick to deploy.
The 'little giant' step stool is a great option for ready built folding steps as well.

Thanks for the input. The steps fit nice and flat against the interior door. My only hesitation is the possibility of damaging the screen. Also dirt from the steps themselves. In my experience the steps get dirtier from use than being stored outside the camper. Yes you can always sweep them off but usually something sticks and falls off later. Maybe I'm a neat freak and want to minimize the interior dirt
Another thought is that you would probably need to be inside the camper to deploy. Anyway I appreciate the input and I'm still knocking that idea around.Here is a video of the concept. I don't think I would use the same method to attach. I think there is a simpler way.
Finally reclaiming the garage! The 7' clearance was barely enough for the camper. So close that the vents had to
wait for installation. Once it was out, we loaded onto a camper dolly for easy maneuverability. I was a little concerned that
the weight added from the first time we moved it would prove difficult. However this was not the case. It will be interesting
to see how much this thing weighs.

Remaining to do list; Fantastic air vent, bathroom solar vent, pocket tabs for flatbed, clamps, under bed gray tank install,
12 volt air conditioner, steps and touch up paint. Probably something I'm forgetting.........always is.
As we were cleaning the garage I thought I'd take some pictures of the tools used for this build. The only things
subbed out were the dinette cushions and custom bent aluminum angles.

Made these aluminum tabs for the steps, then attached to the camper with lag screws and Sika 252.
Will probably purchase torklift landing gear for unleveled ground.
One nice thing about the aluminum extrusions is that it provides strong attachment points like this.
Also plan to attach awning in similar fashion.
