Ahhhh yes! Now I see. Thanks for the reply and for the informative pics!

By the way, is it possible to put some sort of lid in the access floor in the flip pac so kids or a small adult (think carnival) can sleep up in the flipac over the bed of the truck? From what I have seen, it looks like only the front of the flipac is available for.use flr.sleeping and the back just has a vinyl roll out cover or lid that seperates the sleeping area from the truck bed. Have you seen anyone or have you tried putting a foldable rigid floor in the aft portion of the flipac to expand.the sleeping area and maybe add a skde zipper with a ladde?

It must be a PITA to climb out of that thing to release all the IPA or HEFFEWEIZEN consumed earlier in the evening! I have a hard enough time getting out of my tent!

There is a hammock built in with a 180lb capacity, I have a toilet in the back so late night nature calls are no different than at home really.

See my FlipPac build thread in the pop up camper section and check your PM.

Here's how the bracket looked after I modded it to work with the ARB

Bracket mounted. Note how the cutout was made to allow the ARB bracket bolt to pass through and how the Icon bracket is sandwiched between the frame, the ARB bracket and the sway bar relocation blocks underneath.

Icon 2.5 Reservoir mounted with hose clamps. Coilover set for 3 inches of lift.

Took it down for an alignment after I had everything back together. Obviously it was way out of spec - see the numbers, before and actual (after).

The ride is noticeably more plush now, and the annoying vibration in the steering wheel at 45-50mph is gone now. This setup should give a much higher level of performance than I have known previously and I'm very excited to hit the trail!

Hey Dave- Who ended-up doing your alignment and were you happy with them? Thanks, Chris

Any plans to upgrade to 4 wheel disc brakes like the FJ Cruiser? I would think that with as heavily loaded as you are, it would be a good idea.

This is a prefab unit that was for sale. I thought of picking it up, but not sure how I want to set up the back of the truck. BTW, this is for a 1st gen double cab tacoma:

The bottom part can be set at the same level as the benches to make another bed area.
