This is a prefab unit that was for sale. I thought of picking it up, but not sure how I want to set up the back of the truck. BTW, this is for a 1st gen double cab tacoma:

The bottom part can be set at the same level as the benches to make another bed area.

My detailed camper build is here: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/34407-Doc-s-05-Tacoma-SB-AT-FlipPac-Build-Thread

Very Nice web site Dave. Good Job. I now have a 2010 Tacoma and am ready to start all the mods, so I will be picking your brain here shortly. I met you at the toys 4 toys event when my wife and 8yr old son all climbed in your FlipPac to see how it fit us. Beautiful Truck you have. -Chris

The rear has the factory E-locker, the breather has been re-located up high at the gas filler door.

Dave- Where is the factory breather located and how difficult was it to move it to the gas filler door? Is this a mod that you highly recommend? -Chris

The breather is right there on the diff, I just used a threaded fitting (It was actually a Nissan part I forget the number but its for diff breather line fitting) and a length of 3/8 fuel line, two small hose clamps and re-purpsed the OEM Toyota breather onto the end of this new line IIRC. Routed up and inside the bed wall (in between) and zip tied in place.

I highly recommend this mod. Like many things, this should have been done at the factory.

FYI, the front diff and t-case/tranny breathers are located up high on the firewall so no need to worry there.

EDIT: It's on my site now under suspension tires and gears: http://tacodoc.com/?page_id=13

:)
