I've been wanting to get an old M416 military trailer since I've been seeing so many really cool rebuilds of them in here. My neighbor has one that he's playing hard-to-get with. He says he doesn't want to sell it, but I think that's partially to get me to want it more.
But, we have an old trailer here at the ranch that was made by the Highway Trailer Company from Edgerton, WI in 1946. It was built for AT&T and we bought it from the local Northwestern Bell office in the late 1960's to house our portable stand by electrical generator that we use in the event of a power outage. My trailer is very similar to the one shown in this thread except that mine is vertical in the back doors, not sloped. Mine also was designed as, and is, a single axle trailer. But, otherwise, mine used to have the same drawer system as the one in this link. So, it's pretty cool to see one of these trailers listed here.
