Does this count as a “van”?

No, probably not, but this is where I was active before I sold my other rig, and it’s my “I’m back” post. Not sure how camperized it will get since I haven’t worked out the direction or mechanics of doing that with a soft top. Or even if it will stay a soft top. Anyway....

Got me a “van” again. :)

Oh the possibilities!
That is so cool!
I vote for hard sides and pop top.
What is the top speed on the highway?

I believe the PO said it topped out around 60-ish. RPMS become the issue because it gets wound out. Supposedly it’ll cruise pretty happy at 55-58 and given what it is I’m happy with that.

No cab, continuous body, engine under front seats, no long front hood... looks like a convertible van to me.

Close enough :D

Hehe, thx. I loved the snot out of your kit and regretted selling the Ambo the moment it was turning out of the parking lot, but it was big. On 37s big big big, and a bit unwieldy considering the terrain here back east. You know how it is. It’s much better suited for the more open spaces out west where it lives now.

Besides, 6 wheels, shift on the fly 6x6 and factory lockers on each axle! What is NOT to love about that? ?
