Duluth clothing

I now have two black pair, one size is a little smaller in the waist and fitting better.
Been weight training, walking at work more, and cleaning up my diet, so I am getting back in shape again.

The brown ones I have been wanting just came in stock and put my order in for them.
Should be here before next weekend.
I ordered them in a 28" length too since their pants seem to run extra long in this model.
I wear a 30", but as seen above, I had to have them taken up.

On the durability of these pants, they are great.
I am climbing into different work rigs all day at work and brush up against dirty machinery.
So far they do not seem to attract dirt like other clothing.
Also I walk a lot at work both on duty and for exercise a few miles during lunch.
Lot of that is in the rain at times, and these pants are pretty much water repellent for cotton just like they say.
Water beads up on them.

I am very happy with these for work pants.

Attention all shoppers.
The above work pants by Deluth are on sale.
I just got the email into my inbox.

Normal price $49.50
Sale price $42.07

I will be ordering a few pair this weekend, and in even a smaller size.
I continue to shrink since lifting weights and wearing Skechers Shape-ups shoes daily for over a month now..
I now own three pair for work and home.

These are some of the best jean type material pants I have owned.
They refuse to show dirt on them too, and very durable.

I just wish they offered them in a 29" inseam.
30" I have have them taken up (their pants run extra long) and the 28" brown ones I bought are just a tad short.

I get their catalogs. I just wish that they would put in actual pictures of the items instead of drawings. However, I may have to try one of those shirts.

They do have real pictures if you go to their website. I own lots of their stuff and it has all been top quality.

I have a pair too of black 5.11s from Galls I bought a few years back.
A little to tight to wear still.

All my 5.11 pants have split in the crotch. I will not buy them anymore. My Propper and Carhartts do much better.

I think I will finally pull the trigger on firehose pants soon...

Believe me, the Firehose are worth getting several pair.
After days of abuse at work and multiple washings, they look brand new still.

The main front side pockets (not the cargo ones) are huge.

if you don't like the illustrations, be sure to let Rick know. He's kind of new at the game:coffeedrink: .

forget Aerostich, too. they don't know anything about motorcycle gear, either.

yup, cold and boring up there in Duluth. nothing going on there.
:coffee:

OK hinoranger, don't make me come over the bridge, eh!

Yeah you-betcha, it's bad enough Favre is retiring only a year after we stole him, now it comes to this!

I'll meet ya at the bottom of the Bong, becuase the High Bridge is to hard to cross with all dis here road construction!:coffeedrink: LOL!

I've tried a few things from Duluth Trading, so far so good. Thier sizing runs a bit on the big side (or maybe everyone else's runs on the small side?)

And Aerostitch, wow! Some great products.

I've been thinking about getting one of thier 'Jac Shirts', which is a fleece lined fire hose shirt.

I have a few of thier 'long tail' T shirts, and really like them. They have held up great.

But you are right on the sizes. I bought the T's for my dad, and they were too big.

Rather than return them (which you can do easily) I kept them for myself, and just ordered some new ones for my dad.

I've had one of those Jac Shirts for years and they are great. I had to order a large in which I normally run extra large and ordered my dad one also and ordered a medium for him.

The Men's 1/4 Zip 100s Fleece arrived yesterday, and for $20 it is very nice.
Not really meant to be worn as a shirt, but over a shirt.
It is a little thicker than the Railriders Force 5 I received earlier in the week which can be worn as a shirt.

Getting ready to head out to pick up some stuff for my AR15, and will be wearing the zip over a T shirt in 36° weather, it is a warm pullover.
I could see ordering a few more of these.

The undies came too :D
Trying them out, but I have not worn this style since the 70s (boxer/brief) so I am still undecided on them.
They do not call them Buck Naked shorts for nothing :coffeedrink:

If I like them after a day, I will order more to last a week or more for a trip.
Not sure how these compare to those Ex Official ones.

OK, here is my brief review on these.
I do not care for the first pair I bought, the boxer/brief style.
But I now have five pair of the regular boxers as in the link above and the picture.

Have not worn the boxer type since the late 80s.
They are very comfortable, and it does indeed feel like you have nothing on underneath.
Took awhile to get use to it, but I like it.

The only thing I do not care for is the button on the fly.
Very hard to button it back up when standing in a urinal like at work where you do not want to be spending time adjusting your wardrobe when others are in the bathroom too.
They might get the wrong idea :D

I think they could have made the fly elasticized so it closes all the way instead of making you button them back up.
And you must button it back up or your going to be left hanging where there is a breeze ;)

I am going to order more of them though, it is hard to go back to regular briefs (tighty whities) after wearing these.

Since they are are nylon, they should dry fast if you need to wash them on camping/expedition/overlanding trips.

OK, here is my brief review on these.

I've thought about getting some, they look comfy.

I've been wearing boxers since I was in the 'Sandbox':Wow1:

At 135-140* F during the day, 'tighty whitey's' just din't cut it!:snorkel:

And yep, hard to go back from boxers!:coffeedrink:

Yeah, I think I will be sticking with these, even for work.
I am going to have to get more at this $18 price since they are on sale.

I wish someone else would try these too that may have tried the ExOfficial ones so they can compare them and see what they think is the best between the two.
I have a feeling these would win, Duluth has great clothing and listens to their customers.

......... Duluth has great clothing and listens to their customers.

I agree there, and I really like thier 'No questions asked' return policy.

They started out in my hometown, but moved to WI now.

We still have Duluth Pack here, but I think 'canvas boxers with a leather waistband' would rub a bit, eh?:snorkel:
