Besides Rossmonster? They seem to be doing well.I see a number of new wannabe Earthroamers (and good luck to them) but is anyone else offering a (semi) hardside popup?

Looks like they are expanding and selling through dealers now.id forgotten about them. But yeah, that’s exactly the niche id be pursuing if I won the lottery. They seem to be at a marginally higher price point than Nimbl. Wonder how they’re doing?

I saw an early review on the Baja that said (I think) $170k for the camper. Wasn't the Nimbl $350k with the truck?
to follow up: email from Rossmonster clarifies that 369k price includes the truck.
”The price does include the base chassis. The final price can vary slightly depending on the exact chassis options but the pricing includes an F350 Lariat.”
Their construction method and the lack of a hard-top.^^^ What makes you think EC's was lighter?
FWIW, I still don't think the EC Terranova left enough payload for a lot of folks, either. The shells on foam and fiberglass sandwich construction are usually not heavy. ~1,000 lbs or so. The basic wall is only ~1.5 lb/sq ft, and I'm pretty sure 400 sq ft or less would cover it.
All the stuff is where the weight comes from.
Do you happen to know if they build to the C&C vs the pickup? I haven't noticed them talking about an articulating subframe which the C&C would need.to follow up: email from Rossmonster clarifies that 369k price includes the truck.

Could be wrong, but I think they use the pickup because they have the option of keeping up to a 35" tire under the rig. Also, when I talked to them they indicated that most rigs weigh about 11,000 pounds. The 1" aluminum tubing frame should be pretty light and I think the outer fiberglass body is only 1/4" thick or so. Of course, I could be wrong about all this info, so keep that in mind.Do you happen to know if they build to the C&C vs the pickup? I don't know for sure about the under storage for the spare, but EC told me they couldn't put the spare under the TN chassis. Rossmonster does on some of their rigs. Also, I have heard that if you get Liquid Spring suspension it uses the under rig spare space for pumps, etc.Pretty sure you could fit 37s under either pretty easily. The 1 ton (350 3500) C&C can be had with SRW, so I guess that is what TruckHouse did. I think it would have made sense for TH to go with a 4500/450 (which are only dually) and SS for the much better turning and wider track... but maybe the suspension options are lacking, or AEV doesn't do those?
Rossmonster may be using the pickup chassis (which are boxed and stiff and don't need pivoting subframes) on the Baja, but each chassis manufacturer will have different bed mounting points, compared to the C&C which all have standard width C channel rails.
