That looks like a very well taken care of rig if pictures from Dacono are recent. Did you swap a 6.4 for a 6.0 powerstroke or is that a typo? You may want to add mileage, duration of your ownership, wear/condition of the MPT-81's and some engine specifics, you may be asked. Then again, this website has a bit of a laissez-faire approach to vehicle listings so have it and GLWS.

Sorry for the newbie question, but how many miles (roughly) can one expect to get out of a well-maintained F-550 (say, 50/40/10 highway/side roads/off road).

How about one with the seller's engine? Trying to figure out how much 80K really is in the scheme of things.
Research longevity of 6.4 ford diesel. An engine is a minor cost for a Earthroamer however if you think about the overall cost of the Earthroamer - but also if you're going to do long trips to other countries reliability is key.

I think these diesel Fords required cab-off to pull the engine out. I don't know how that would get done, given the habitat, without earthroamer involved. Can't imagine even the best diesel shops wanting to pull that cab off the chassis.
