Basically, it opens to a 30 inch wide by 76 inch long bed, so when folded up, you have to store two joined pieces occupying 30 x 38 x about 8 inches. The eight inch height leaves room to store some things on top of the folded bed, but all in all, having the bed occupies about half the volume of the nose cone. (Plus some more is lost to storing the bigger sleeping pad.)I'll have to go back and search for pics, but I can't figure how that fold out bed platform was taking up so much space. That looks like a LOT of extra room up there.
Hey, I just drove it to the North Plains McDonald's last Sunday. Put the top up and let the spooky-abnormal warm March breeze waft through the cabin while I played Amazing Alex on the iPad and ate my Sausage McMuffin. Livin' the good life, yes I am.
Or were you thinking of something more along the lines of the Canol Road or Belize? :sombrero:
Thanks, Eric, for the heads-up. If it got bought by anyone here, or if anyone here knows who bought it, post up to let us know. Given what an XV-JP is best at, it's hard to believe that only two of the eleven XV-JPs made show up here.Mike, according to the ER website, looks like we have a new member to the JP club.
FWIW, the XV-JP will be sort of "on display" at the Northwest SprinterFest on April 13 in Tualatin, Oregon. That's because Upscale Automotive, which sponsors NWSF, did much of the important fabrication work on the truck and I'll be attending so people can see their work. If you're in the area, stop by and have a look at my rig and all of the Sprinters attending.

PM sent.I wish I wasn't going to be in Louisiana working! I'd still like to meet up some time and check out a few things on that Jeep of yours, specifically the fox wing awning.
Hi Eric and Mike,
We bought the XV-JP. Plans are to have AEV do a Hemi conversion, bigger tires, and put a wrap on it. We will pick it up in May, but we plan on bringing the XV-LT to the Expo instead of the Jeep. Will you be at the Expo?
Cheryl
That'd be pretty cool. It's worth a try. We could be the world's smallest rally. :sombrero:Maybe we will bump into each other in Colorado one weekend for a mini XV-JP rally. Mike??
