Ends of the Earth Expedition: Central America

Can't wait to see pics and hear stories about the famous Darien Gap!

Is there going to be a slideshow or a Powerpoint of the trip at Overland Expo... Pretty please:drool:.

Scott,

When you get there, please ask some of the locals what the going rate is for leading a 7.98 meters by 3.67 meters by 2.62 meters very, um, heavy, overland expedition vehicle through the gap, south to north.

Whatever it entails, it's got to be easier and cheaper than shipping from Guayaquil to Long Beach! ;)

The end of the road

We can go no further on the Pan American in North America... The trucks ship home on Monday. I like Panama, and will stay another week to soak it up a bit more.

Scott,
How was the road to Yaviza? When I was there 2 years ago we got within about 5-10 miles of Yaviza and they were doing road construction and we couldn't get by all the construction equipment and had to turn around...
